Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø 2025 will take place in mid-September 2025 and the deadline to apply will be in early August. 

Who is eligible to be an Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø participant?

The programming is designed for high school seniors who will be the first in their family to attend college, students from rural or low-income backgrounds, and/or students who do not have the means to visit campus on their own (either because of geographic distance or financial stress).At this time, only students living and attending high school in the United States and Puerto Rico are eligible for consideration.

How do I apply for Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø?

To be considered for the program, you must complete the , and upload your high school transcript and senior year schedule.

When can I expect to hear a decision about my Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø application?

Students will be notified by the end of August.

How do I update my Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø application?

If your senior year schedule changes from the time of your application submission or you have other application updates, please contact admission@davidson.edu.

Are there any costs associated with applying and/or participating in Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø?

There is no cost to apply or participate in Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. If selected, we cover the cost of your transportation to/from campus, meals while you are with us, and overnight accommodations. 

If I am not selected for Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, does that mean I wouldn’t be admitted to Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø? 

The outcome of your Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø application does not impact your admission decision to Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. In fact, we encourage you to still apply for admission! Every year, there are qualified applicants who we are unable to invite to participate in Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø simply because of space limitations. 

If I am unable to participate or am not selected for Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, are there other opportunities for a visit to Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø?

Those students who have not been on an official campus visit and who are not selected for the fall Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø program are eligible for later visit opportunities in conjunction with admitted student programming. Admission officers nominate competitive applicants for the spring Access Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø program as part of the application reading and evaluation process.
