Latin America is one of the world's major regions, given its rich history (and prehistory), long literary tradition, multiple cultures, and complex political and economic systems.
It is a key place for understanding contemporary issues of migration, borders, development and sustainability, and power hierarchies, especially given the multiple ties binding the region to the U.S.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø in Peru program is directed at students interested in Latin American or Peruvian culture, history, politics, literature, social justice, the environment, and human rights.
