New Student Orientation
Welcome new students and new Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø families! We are so excited to welcome you to the Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø community.
During New Student Orientation, incoming students have the opportunity to spend time with lots of people who will be integral to their time at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. Students will learn about the college and its values, important resources, the Town of Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, and hopefully something new about themselves. New Student Orientation is required for all new students.
Move-In for new students will take place on August 19, 2026. New Student Orientation (August 19-23) is required for all new students.
One of the best ways to begin your journey here is to read a common book during the summer, discuss it during Orientation, and apply what you learn to your life at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and beyond.
Last year's Common Read Book was The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton. Books will be mailed to all incoming students in mid-June.
Coming from around the country and world, the Orientation Team supports New Student Orientation by assisting with move-in, leading orientation sessions and energizing and mentoring our new students. They cannot wait to welcome Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø's new students to campus this August!
If you have questions pertaining to Orientation, we are here to help! Please reach out to the Student Activities Office for any Orientation-related questions.
