Simple Intervention for a Deadly Disease: Alum Leads on Malaria Breakthrough
Deaths from the mosquito-borne illness malaria disproportionately affect children under the age of 5—more than 1,200 children die of malaria every day, mostly in Africa. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø alum Ross Boyce ’01 has identified a low-cost, culturally appropriate intervention that could save thousands of young lives.
